I'm trying!

I'm trying to keep up with blogging but it's hard to find time! How does everyone do it? Well. I've finished a couple of projects and am working on a few more. As soon as I take some pictures I'll post them up.

Just a random thought:
- I LOVE being a stay-at-home mom! I never thought I would ever see myself at home & not working but I love being home with my kids!

Well, that's it! Till next time!

I'm back!

Oh, have I been busy! I've been so busy with my family the past couple of months I haven't had a chance to sit down and type up a new entry. I've got a few craft projects I'm working on and once I get those done I'll post pictures up. In the mean time here are some pictures of the costumes I made for my kids this past Halloween...

So I've been really busy lately with the kids! However, I found some time to complete my latest project:

I use to wake up EARLY in the morning to work on my projects but that got old FAST! I now work on them whenever I get the chance (ie: during the kids nap time, LATE at night or whenever my husband watches the kids for me.) This cutie is up for sale on my etsy store. Check it out at: www.planetmarz.etsy.com.

Bibs

So, yesterday afternoon I found out my sister-in-law gave birth to a baby boy. The family decided to go visit her later that evening. You can't go to the hospital empty handed, right?! So, as soon as I found out about the little one's arrival I started working on this...

This is the back....

Not bad for under pressure!

My First Quilt

My First Quilt, originally uploaded by Planet Marz.

I started having the desire to make things after having my son. However, after having my daughter the desire got even stronger. This is the first quilt I've ever made. It's for my baby girl. I think it turned out pretty good!

the following are a few more pictures of the back of the quilt and a close up picture of a couple of the 90 something triangles I had to cut, fold and sew on to the quilt.

My next project is a cloth doll. I've been working on it for a while now. I'll post pictures of it once it's completed. I'm going to put it up for sale as soon as I get my etsy store up.

Welcome to my crafty world!

So, I've been meaning to to start up a blog for about a year but never got around to it. I've finally decided to give it a try and see what happens. Having 2 kids you never can keep up with everything! I'm going to use this site to share completed craft projects, my family life, etc. Hope everyone will enjoy it!
